My Passion
I believe that being present for someone in their time of need is one of the most meaningful experiences we can have. With a deep appreciation for the unique interplay of science and spirituality, I see counseling as an opportunity to connect the mind and soul, helping individuals find harmony within themselves and their relationships. My approach is rooted in the belief that every aspect of our being—mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual—is equally important and deserves thoughtful care and balance.
To that end, I specialize in cultural and religious integration, childhood adversity and resilience, community and relationships, and multilingual and multicultural counseling.
Cultural and Religious Integration:
As an Eastern Orthodox, I understand the challenges of navigating family, culture, and religion in today’s modern world. I aim to help clients embrace these values while finding their own path forward.
Childhood Adversity and Resilience:
My experience working with children without parental care has given me a profound understanding of the impact of early life challenges and the importance of building resilience through community and connection.
Community and Relationships:
I deeply value the power of community and meaningful relationships in fostering growth and healing, and I work to help clients cultivate these connections in their lives.
Multilingual and Multicultural Counseling:
Fluent in both English and Serbian, I am passionate about providing culturally attuned support to diverse clients, honoring their unique backgrounds and stories.
