My Passion
I am deeply committed to holistic well-being, combining a passion for spiritual growth with a developing expertise in clinical mental health. I believe in the transformative power of faith and love to create meaningful change, not only in individual lives but also in families and communities. With warmth and compassion, I approach counseling as a partnership that uplifts and supports each client on their journey toward healing and growth.
To that end, I specialize in marriage and family counseling, faith integration and mental health, community and multicultural engagement, and life transitions and resilience.
Marriage and Family Counseling:
As a national speaker for FamilyLife’s Weekend To Remember marriage getaways and contributor to The Art of Parenting video series and The Story of Us couples devotional, I am dedicated to strengthening marriages and families through practical tools, encouragement, and faith-based guidance.
Faith Integration and Mental Health:
With a BA in Bible Theology from Moody Bible Institute and extensive ministry experience, I specialize in weaving spiritual growth into mental health counseling to help clients find peace and purpose.
Community and Multicultural Engagement:
As the co-founder of The Brook, a vibrant multicultural church in Chicago, I have spent over a decade fostering meaningful connections and advocating for community well-being in a diverse urban setting.
Life Transitions and Resilience:
I am passionate about walking alongside clients during significant life changes, providing the support and insight they need to navigate challenges with strength and grace.
