Carl Wilson, MA, LPC
In my practice, I focus on holistic development, prioritizing mental and physical wellness, spiritual growth, and character building. My approach is characterized by empathy and compassion, providing tailored guidance to help clients navigate their journey toward healing, growth, and personal fulfillment. Through collaborative and respectful engagement, I strive to make a meaningful impact on individual lives and the broader community.
I am currently completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology where my passion lies in research exploring innovative mental health care delivery approaches through collaborations among public entities, private organizations, and faith-based groups, focusing on creating partnerships within underserved communities in Chicago. Additionally, I hope that the outcome of my research and involvement serves as a catalyst for positive social change. My goal is to highlight the urgent need for policy reforms and innovative care strategies while advocating for a society where mental health services are more accessible and tailored to the unique needs of all individuals. This is a foundational step toward engaging policymakers, community leaders, and mental health professionals.
